CANCELLATIONS

Shit happens – especially in this new wild 21st century world. I’m not a grinch, I understand sometimes we make plans and need to cancel. I got you boo.

Seeing as my system is considered “express” and orders are literally down to the wire, cancellations are also going to be cutting it fine.

Cheesecakes, Cookies and Brownie Boxes

Lucky for you these babies are popular, and we have a plethora of friend who will happily take these bad boys off your hands and enjoy. Brownies, cookies and Cheesecakes are fully refundable up until the day of delivery. If cancelled on the delivery date you will receive a 50% refund back to the method in which payment was originally made.

Custom work 

In the rare event we accept a custom order. These can take weeks of planning, ordering and preparation. Please be mindful of this if you simply have a change of heart. All custom orders require a 20% deposit upon booking to secure your spot. This deposit is completely non-refundable upon cancellation.
If a cancellation is made 76 hours outside of the event date you will receive 80% cash refund – within 76 hours of the event date this will become a 50% credit.

If you are needing to change the date of your event, I am more than happy to discuss and try and accommodate but please be mindful, your new date may not be available. If this is the case you will automatically lose
your 20% deposit and I will assist where I can in finding an alternative cake decorator for your new date.

Cancellations MUST be made in writing to my email address – hello@thesugardealer.com.au

Any credit given on cake cancellations are valid for 12 months only and can be used toward any of our products. The full amount must be used in one transaction.

If for some reason The Sugar Dealer needs to cancel your order, because shit happens to us too (accident, illness etc.) then you will be refunded in full and we will do our best to find you an available alternative decorator.

 

DELIVERY

All online brownie, Cheesecake and cookie orders are to be collected from Boston Bay Collective @ 46 Tasman Tce M-F 9-5 or Sat 9am-1pm - unless other wise organised.

If Delivery is required please select for $6 Port Lincoln only delivery fee.

Our NYC style cookies can be posted australia wide for an $16 express shipping fee.

In the instance that you are ordering a gift delivery, particularly a surprise, and the recipient isn’t home at the time of delivery, we can not leave a cake unattended due to health and safety / storage conditions. A note will be left with contact details or collectiion details from Boston bay Collective - we wont ruin the suprise.

Unfortunately, at this stage brownie drops will be for selected dates only - we will notify when your order if ready for collection - but hit us up if you need your order by a certain time - We’re here to please.

SHORTAGES / AVAILABILITY

Sadly, in this bizarre world we are currently living in, it is all too often I head to the shop and find what I am looking for is out of stock.

It is impossible for The Sugar Dealer to constantly update what is in and out of stock at the supermarket or specialty stores. Because of this, there might be instances where an order is placed that we are unable to
fulfill due to lack of ingredients.

If this is the case, you will be contacted immediately and offered an alternative option. If you really had your heart set on a particular item then, of course, a full refund will be issued. This is completely out of our control and we will do our best to accommodate or update you where and when we can.

There may be times we are busy on custom orders or family life, or god forbid, unprecedented emergencies and need to close off any ordering on the website. All alerts such as this will be posted in the pink bar at the top of the screen and it is your responsibility to check this as we can
not block out certain dates on the cake builder.

If you miss it and put through an order on a day that is unavailable you will be contacted immediately and given a full refund.

We will try our best to use this announcement bar to alert to any product shortages as we become aware of them also.

 

ALLERGIES

The Sugar Dealer accepts no responsibility for any allergy related issues that may arise from the consumption of any of our products.

Upon ordering from us you acknowledge that our product may
at time come into contact with all, but not limited to, known allergens listed below and that you take full responsibility for yourself and the persons you may be ordering for. It is your responsibility to inform your recipient or guests that our products may come into contact with the following:

Dairy, nuts, wheat, soy, egg and other allergens.

 

STORAGE

All express (website ordered) items are made to order and will be made fresh for your order. Collection will be required within 24 hours from our nominated address, or alternative collection points can be discussed.

Brownies are best stored in an airtight container at room temp for
3-4 days, refrigerated for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 3 months. But who are we kidding, they won’t last a day without being eaten.

Our NYC style cookies can be treated like a brownie, if they somehow last the day, whack them in the freezer, & when you need a sugar hit - give them 5-10 mins in a low-morderate oven to just to freshen up.

Cheesecakes - Much less stable than my other products these babies are best kept airtight and MUST be in the fridge! Please discard after 5 days and as with any product it will lose some quality in that time.

They can be frozen in a household freezer for upto 2 months in an airtight container.

I will never supply fresh cream with cheesecakes, that is up to you.

PACKAGING.

Our Brownies, cheesecakes and Cookies come in kraft/paper boxes. Please ensure you relocate them to a air tight container before refrigerating or freezing.

 

CAKE & BROWNIE PERSONALISATION

Whilst we like to have a good time here at The Sugar Dealer,
and that is the whole idea with being able to personalise and gift your sugar we do not under any circumstances tolerate bullying of any kind.

All submissions for personalisation will be accepted and delivered as per the order.

The Sugar Dealer does not take any responsibility for any offence or hurt that may be caused by the personalisation of any of our
products. The person ordering and paying for the personalised product is entirely responsible for the personalisation and any repercussions that may
occur at or after the time of delivery.

 

CAKE INJURY

The Sugar Dealer is not responsible for any damage to a cake
once it is handed to the care of the recipient or nominated venue. Be that after delivery or once the cake has been collected and in the hands of the recipient. If you wish to collect and transport your own cake it will be
provided to you in a secure cake box and the best method of transportation is on the floor – not a lap!

If a cake is injured in the care of The Sugar Dealer and is deemed unsalvageable by the cake decorator, you will be contacted immediately
and offered a full cash refund.

PHOTO USAGE & SOCIAL MEDIA

The Sugar Dealer reserves the right to use any photos taken of your creation, whether custom or express, for use on our social media, website or any marketing purposes.  

ORDERING

All cookies, cheesecake and brownies can be ordered
directly through our website at ease.

Custom ordered brownies, cheesecakes and cookies can be enquired about through the
“Lets Chat” contact form. All custom orders require a MINIMUM of 2 weeks’ notice and are subject to availability.

All custom orders are based on a quote system, quotes are obligation and cost free. You may require multiple quotes until we reach the
desired outcome.

A custom order is only considered confirmed once the 20%
non-refundable deposit is paid.
